Tech Workshop
Since 2022, Exit One Founder Darren Tietsworth has been offering free Technology Workshops for various townships and civic organizations in Union, Somerset, Morris, Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
The workshops are typically an hour in length and cover a variety of popular technology topics. Our audience tends to be mostly senior citizens who often don't have access to low-cost or free tech help.
Topics such as cybersecurity, home networking, mobile phone usage are commonly discussed, but the workshops are open-ended and we often transition to other "tech support" questions that the guests have. If the guest brings their device, we can often helps "hands-on" as well.

Our Workshop Can Be Customized

Workshop Format... The Choice is Yours
Our workshops are highly flexible and can be customized, often on the fly, to suit the needs of the guests. Some of the workshops are topical (ie, cybersecurity, home networking, Windows 11 upgrades, etc) but often the workshops are conducted to address specific topics of interest to the attendees. Either way, we can adjust and adapt as needed to deliver a productive and rewarding workshop.
All of Our Workshops Include
The workshops are most rewarding when the guests get involved with experiences, questions and feedback. Encourage your group to ask questions and tell their stories.
During the Workshops, a variety of "tech tools" is often discussed. After the workshop, we are happy to provide links to the various providers to purchase the tools at a discounted price often savings the guests more than $100.
We are also available for personalized, one-on-one in-home support for a nominal fee. Unlike Geek Squad and Staples that often charge $200 - $400+ for in-home support, our in-home service is as low as $59 per visit.
After the workshops, guests will be provided a free 1-on-1 consultation on any topic they choose. These sessions will be 30 minutes or less and will be conducted by phone or video chat (FaceTime, Zoom or WhatsApp)
